On Our Way to Africa

For 30 years Joanne and I have been talking about visiting some of our best friends, Del and Becky Chinchen, on African soil, where they have been serving the Lord for so many years.

God has seen fit to allow us this great opportunity by traveling to Yekepa, Liberia where Dan will be teaching a three week course (Bible Study Methods) at African Bible College University (3 hours a day for 15 days).

Joanne will be working with the children at the Betty Jonah Orphanage, and also teaching First Aid and Nutrition for the University students.

I am writing this post from our hotel room in Brussels. We arrived here safe and sound after a short layover in London.

We took the train to the old part of Brussels and had dinner outside at a small cafe. I had mussels and french fries - a very traditional meal here. Wonderful! Joanne had some kind of ham dish.

We walked through some of the streets and saw amazing architecture, and the world-famous Manneken Pis (Google that).

We'll post more info and photos as the trip develops.

Photos are posted on my Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/PastorDanLloyd)
Thank you for all of your prayers!
